Why Falling Apple?
Our name comes from the story of Newton’s apple, a simple moment of impact that changed the way we understand the world.
When you learn something because you've felt it - when you move in your body, and physicalise ideas - you understand it differently. Learning becomes embodied, memorable, and alive, not just an idea in the mind, but an experience you carry with you.

Geraldine Cox bridges the worlds of science and fine art, and has been doing it with a joyful, creative flair since 2011. It all started with a Leverhulme Trust 'Artist in Residence Award' for her project with physicists at Imperial College London. Since then, she’s been creating all sorts of public engagement projects, earning recognition like the renowned American Institute of Physics’ 'Andrew Gemant Award' along the way. https://www.findingpatterns.info/

Emma Bellerby is a contemporary dance artist and producer. She works with theatres and dance companies to engage artists, families, schools and communities in creative projects that use dance to learn, tell stories and build connection.
Emma is the Engagement and Legacy Producer at Akram Khan Company and has delivered programmes for Sadler’s Wells, the Royal Opera House and The Place. |
